JEFF ROWE

Jeff Rowe creates vivid floral images with a digital camera and archival pigments and paper. A single image may contain 500 frames and take a week to image. Some have taken years to complete due to refinement. He began this work 5 years ago. In 2019 he created images using details of these, based on the Golden Ratio and square mandalas.

Jeff has been a photographer for 50 years. He owned and operated a photography studio and a photo lab in Austin, Texas for 25 years.

Jeff attended NIU in 1969 and U of O 1975-1977. He studied photography and fine art. He did independent study on the Oglala Sioux reservation Wamblee, South Dakota and the Blackfoot reservation Browning, Montana.

Jeff currently lives and works in Lockhart, Texas.
