Join us at Commerce Gallery on Wednesday, July 24th for our first installment of lockhART talks, an ongoing public series featuring engaging conversations about art, artists and the creative process. Each month, enjoy candid dialogue with a curated Central Texas visual artist and gain insight into their methods, tools and inspiration.
July’s featured artist is Commerce Gallery artist-in-residence Christopher St. Leger. St. Leger, a visual artist and academically trained architect, works in watercolor and oil, creating evocative vignettes inspired by buildings and their ability to balance our lives through a range of emotions. Throughout his expansive career, St. Leger has developed a distinctive artistic style influenced by his relentless wanderlust and his resounding curiosity towards the world around him.
