Kristin, a native Texan, attended St. Edward’s University for undergraduate studies. While at St. Edward’s, she extensively studied art history and contemporary drawing and painting. She spent time studying abroad in Germany learning the German language while also developing a love for travel. Upon graduation in 2013, Kristin continued working towards a portfolio to apply for graduate school while working in the service industry and volunteering at various art organizations in Austin. 

In 2016, she completed her MFA at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles. While living in LA, Kristin refined her studio practice to focus on landscape painting. Upon moving back to Texas, Kristin continued working in hospitality while building her art career. As of January 2020, Kristin has been a full time painter and continues to expand her work to explore new subject matter and larger scale.

 She has been named one of Saatchi Art’s 20 Artists To Watch in 2020, and her paintings can be found in collections across the U.S. and Europe. Her work has been shown at The Other Art Fair in Dallas, and in group exhibitions with Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans, the Bolsky Gallery in Los Angeles, and SHOWFIELDS in New York (curated by The Jealous Curator). Kristin currently lives and works in Dallas, TX and is a studio artist at The Cedars Union.
